The Colbert Report premiered tonight, and it's a Talking Head/Know-it-all Political Pundit type show in the same vein as the O'Reilly Factor, except that it's Stephen Colbert (Emmy and Peabody Award Winner writer and perfomer from The Daily Show, Strangers With Candy, and the Book I'm currently reading, Wigfield), so it's hilarious absurdist satire.

I really enjoyed it, and it should make a strong run. It will couple wonderfully with the Daily Show, drawing from it's audience. And Colbert is absolutely perfect.

And speaking of Video, I have reworked mp.danwho.net my moving pictures media player extensively, so heaps of video have become available in a manageable mock media player format. I've put up 13 clips since the reformat of the page, 12 in the past two days. Including clips from: Strangers With Candy, Stand-up from Louis CK, The Marx Bros Duck Soup, The Daily Show and as I already stated The Colbert Report.

9 year New York Knick Shooting Guard and Salary Cap Hog, Allan Houston retired today.

My former roomate, James of CannedJam is redoing his layout, perhaps he'd rather I'd shout him out when he's finished with it, but I get excited easily and feel like jumping the gun.

Also my buddy Ryan Gray has been blogging again lately, but not in the livejournal that i've had linked for the longest time, he's got a new blogspot about his west coast movie studio intern exploits, I'll have to update my link includes.
