reintroductions are in order

allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is who...Or How I couldn't hold the heat no more and had to release it.

listen you might be someone who has been to this site before, and maybe you've noticed the new digs, well good i'm glad you are perceptive, the thing is, last year i relaunched danwho.net with the previous puke green windows xp stlye. i made the move on april 28th, 2004, my 20th birthday, as a present to myself. Well I was planning on relaunching with this new layout on April 28th, 2005, my 21st birthday, but I'm drunk and impulsive so i went for it now. plus, why celebrate my birthday, its just another day that i didn't do anything to deserve special recognition.

Anyway the last layout was a big hit, this is me being proud of myself, 85% of my visitors use internet explorer, but then again i have mixed feelings about microsoft. i'm glad that there is a widely used standard, without microsoft the whole industry would be a lot more complicated. However, as much a fan as I am of trust, in general, between people, and trust funds, god i wish i had one, I am pretty much opposed to trusts, as in monopolistic business ventures, not unlike microsoft's market share strangle hold. so my xp promotion was questionable at best.

so the new layout is still xp based, but is more ambiguous. Internet explorer is out, giving way to a new browser, firefoxish, equipped with functional file menus. And now I provide a cleaner desktop, equipped with a recent updates instant messenger of sorts. And if you aren't a fan of the banner slash update table color, its on a random generator, so next time it hopefully won't be so offensive.

anyway, with the new layout, scalabillity was a built in factor, & I still have plenty of plans for new features and pages coming up...hell, i'd better, this is growing more and more the only reason i have for getting out of bed---er staying awake for 40 some odd hours straight.
