Obviously I was aware that there was a Michael Jackson criminal case going on, but to be honest I had no clue it would be over so soon. Even with the barrage of news coverage and the E! true hollywood reenactments, it seemed to sort of fly by. OJ seemed like an eternity.
I didn't realize that that case was nearing a verdict and while at work I was told that the jury was done, but it would be an hour or so before the news was released.
On the ride home the radio played the foreman...uh forewoman delivering the endless stream of Not Guilties, once again surprising no one, that fame escapes blame.
I don't really care, I didn't really follow it, I'm in no position to comment insightfully on it, but I would have liked to have seen the riots that would have gone down in LA if they convicted Michael. I bet that's why they don't convict famous people in Lalaland, because they don't want to have to fight riots and rebuild their city afterwards.
