Tuesday, me and James were looking for a way to take full advantage of the beautiful virginia day, so we flipped a coin. We flipped it 25 times, and as if that wasn't fun enough, we recorded the heads and tails on a sheet of paper. Heads we called Right, and Tails we called Left. Then we got into James' car and drove, turning at every stoplight and T-intersection, either right or left depending on the random chance directions.
At first we circled through Harrisonburg a few times, and felt like we would be home in 10 minutes having failed miserably. But then we got on rt 33 west and didn't hit a designated turning area for at least an hour. We drove over the mountains and ended up in West Virginia, where we got gas, saw a naval base which was completely landlocked, and drove up and down steep inclines and declines, all through the BlueRidge Mountains.
After several hour+ long turning droughts we ended up in Staunton, VA and completed our 25 turns in its downtown area. Then we hopped on the highway and were back at JMU in 15 minutes. So in short we went to Staunton and it took us 4 hours.
