Duke Dog won the online vote by a landslide but that's only half the battle, a blue ribbon panel of CapitalOne credit card stooges and probably some ESPN personalities with nothing better to do will decide the fate of the contest behind closed doors.
So to find out if Duke Dog wins the title of mascot of the year, you and I will both have to watch the Capital One Bowl at 1pm New Years Day on ABC.
I hate the constant promotion of Capital One and their Bowl but if they give us a mascot title in the same year that we won the NCAA Div I-AA football national championship, it will be worth it. And if they don't after we dismantled the online competition then come back here to danwho.net or go to votedukedog.com to join in the organized uprising of some sort that will soon follow...
